Our
Story

The World Health Organization has called stress a "health epidemic of the 21st century". It is increasingly difficult to find space and time for fostering the connection between mind and body, despite growing research showing that this connection is essential to our well-being.

To meet this need, we researched various movement philosophies in order to develop a unique approach to hatha and restorative yoga. Our yoga sessions are a mindful, evidence based approach to teaching yoga that is accessible for all body types and fitness levels.

Meet Amy

Amy Love is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga and meditation teacher with continuing education in chair yoga, restorative yoga, and meditation. She is a former professional ballet dancer and has studied other movement therapies for many years, including pilates, tai chi, gyrotonics, feldenkrais and somatics. She also completed a PhD and postdoctoral fellowship in Psychology with a focus on aging and the connection between mind and body.

Amy teaches yoga like a dancer-- experimenting in mindful, creative ways to find what works best for each client. During all different stages of her life she finds herself returning to the yoga mat for fitness, flexibility, balance, stress reduction, and mental clarity. She loves sharing these evidence-based benefits with her clients.
